Finding Courses

To filter the courses based on the date, click on the appropriate date button. To remove this filter, click on the "All Days" button. To filter the courses based on category, select an option from the Category drop-down. To remove this filter, select the "All Categories" option at the top of this list. To filter the courses based on their type (reserved sessions vs. non-reserved sessions), select an option from the Type drop-down. To remove this filter, select the "Any" option at the top of this list.

You may also do a text-based search of all or part of the course code (e.g. "ABC 123") or course title (e.g. "Cardio") by typing in the "Search by course topic or code" box. The courses will filter automatically as you begin to type.* To remove this filter, clear your search term from the box.

*Internet Explorer 8 users will need to click the "Filter" button after the "Search by course topic or code" box in order to apply this filter.

As you filter the course list, courses are presented in chronological order at the bottom of the page.

Building Your Schedule

Once you have found a course you would like to add to your schedule, click the "Add to My Schedule" button for that course. The course will be added to your schedule, your schedule will be saved on your current computer and the "My Schedule" tab at the top of Schedule Planner will start to reflect how many courses you have added. Please note that your schedule is saved to a browser cookie, so it's important that your browser has cookies enabled and that you do not clear the cookies.

In order to attend a ticketed session, meeting attendees must register for ticketed sessions (free).

You may remove a course from your schedule by clicking the "Remove from My Schedule" button that appears once you have added a course to your schedule.

Viewing Your Schedule

Once you have added one or more courses, you can click the "My Schedule" tab towards the top of Schedule Planner to view the courses you have selected in chronological order.

Schedule Conflicts

If you happen to add two or more courses that take place at the same time, Schedule Planner will alert you by changing the course time to red and adding the message "Conflict in My Schedule". These alerts are only for your convenience and will not have any other effects on your schedule. As an example, if there are two courses that interest you at the same time, you could add both to your schedule and make the decision as to which one to attend closer to the actual event.
